Barcelona provided the perfect backdrop as Avery Dennison marked 90 years of Making Possible at Labelexpo Europe 2025. Over four inspiring days, our booth came alive with innovation, conversation and collaboration — showcasing how labels and packaging can drive sustainability, unlock
connectivity and deliver new levels of performance.

As we celebrate this milestone, we’re also looking ahead: shaping the future of Making Possible, where packaging becomes smarter, more circular and more connected than ever before.

Enabling packaging recycling and reuse

Live demonstrations were at the heart of the booth experience — visitors saw AD CleanFlake™ and AD CleanFiber™ in action, with labels cleanly separating during recycling to maximize yield and improve material quality. These “magic moments” made the circular economy tangible, highlighting our commitment to advancing sustainability.

See how RecyClass-approved AD CleanFlake™ cleanly separates from PET during washing, enabling bottle-to-bottle recycling.

Paper and cardboard

Discover how AD CleanFiber™ adhesive screens out from pulp, improving recyclate quality and supporting high-yield recovery.

Glass

Experience AD CleanGlass™ in action — enabling both wash-off and multicycle bottle reuse, giving glass bottles multiple lifecycles.

Connected packaging and shelf appeal

Our retail showcase featured the launch of the Infinity Collection alongside expanded Sensorial and Sustainable Collections. Visitors discovered prototypes with recycled content, alternative fibers and premium finishes, plus RFID-powered demos bringing real-time insights to life.

Improving patient safety

Guided by our experts, visitors explored our latest pharma solutions designed to improve reliability, traceability and sustainability. Prototypes on syringes, vials and auto-injectors, along with live RFID and NFC demos, showed how our solutions support patient safety and enable circular packaging.

RFID — from production to purchase

An interactive 3D model showcased the benefits of RFID across the supply chain. Visitors experienced factory, distribution and retail operations through a miniature store setup, complete with self-checkout and anti-theft solutions.

Enabling traceability and connectivity

Together with our experts, visitors explored our interactive display of automotive and EV battery solutions — from label prototypes on car parts to a 3D-printed battery demo. RFID demos showed how labels enable traceability, real-time tracking and connectivity across the vehicle lifecycle.

AD Procerta™

Visitors got to learn about Avery Dennison’s ISO/IEC 17025*-accredited testing lab, AD Procerta™, where rigorous material testing meets real-world demands. Live rub tests and demo videos highlighted how our customized solutions help printers, converters and brands save time and reduce risk.
