• We’ve got your back with our liner portfolio

When you need pressure-sensitive labels you can count on, we’ve got your back — and we mean that in all senses of the word. This includes the backbone of the label, the trusty liner. Working at global scale but with local reach, we can offer you one of the broadest, most sustainable and innovative liner portfolios on the market.

Label Quality and Versatility

Enabling label quality and versatility

As the backbone of the label, the humble liner is so much more than meets the eye. Carrying the label that makes your packaging stand out, it protects the adhesive and enables high performance, super fast production speeds, and great versatility in terms of label shape and function to create eye-catching designs with increased shelf appeal.

Performance you can rely on

When you need fast and efficient production of up to as many as thousands of labels per minute, the precise construction and functionality of our durable, high-performing liners make it possible. You can also rely on high-speed conversion and consistent dispensing and printing performance.

Sustainability to help you achieve your 2030 goals

Our recycled content liners are made with materials carefully selected from post-consumer waste streams, helping you meet your sustainability targets. By offering liners that use recycled and thinner materials, as well as unbleached pulp, we’re making it possible to reduce your CO2 emissions while still providing the same high technical performance as virgin liners.

Glassine (paper) and PET (film) liners

Glassine and PET (polyethylene terephthalate) are the materials most widely used to make release liners on pressure-sensitive label constructions. We offer high performing glassine and PET liners that can be paired with paper and film facestocks, which are also available with recycled content.

Lower carbon footprint liners

For lower carbon footprint, we offer liners that contain recycled materials or that are thinner and lighter while still providing high performance. These include our lowest carbon footprint paper liner, rBG Pure, made from 15% recycled fibers and partially unbleached cellulose fibers; our thinnest film liner rPET 19; and our MG liner (machine- glazed paper) that’s not supercalendered for easier recyclability.
