• Compostable labeling solutions

Meeting the growing demand for sustainable packaging

As consumers gravitate toward sustainable products and new legislation drives the shift to a circular economy, brands are increasingly opting for packaging that has a lower environmental impact. Compostable labels meet this demand and help brands meet sustainability targets, comply with new policies, and appeal to eco-minded consumers.

Where compliance, sustainability targets, and happy consumers meet

Our OK Compost compostable labeling solutions not only protect and promote products, but also enable environmentally friendly end-of-life disposal. They are certified by the FSC® and approved for industrial composting, where they break down and can then be used as mulch or soil-conditioning material.

Our compostable labels are not only better for the planet; they are also approved for food contact, so they are a great choice for fruit and vegetable stickers, ice cream cartons, coffee cups, supermarket bags, and more. They also provide good print quality, whether you’re using variable information printing or general multicolor printing. Sticky labels attached to fruits and vegetables must be industrially compostable by three years after the PPWR enters into force. (see article 9
