REACH legislation (Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and restriction of Chemicals) has been in force since 2006. It means that industry now has a greater legal responsibility for managing risk from chemicals, and especially from substances of very high concern (SVHCs).

From the very beginning, Avery Dennison has worked hard to comply with all relevant aspects of this regulation to avoid disruption of the manufacture and supply of its products, collaborating with all suppliers to maintain compliance now and in the future.

Avery Dennison operates through different business units. Each business unit has published information on REACH relevant to it including compliance statements and a list of products containing SVHC components.
