UL-labeling System | Avery Dennison | LPM

UL® Recognized Products

Avery Dennison is one of just four labs in the United States certified by UL for standard 969, covering marking and labeling systems for durable goods applications. Our status is UL’s Client Test Data Program. This means we can test and approve a label construction against UL 969, send the results to UL, and give you the green light to use it. It saves you time and gives you greater speed-to-market. We offer a similar level of support for the UL 969 Canadian analog, CSA 22.2, no. 15.

Our close relationship with UL can benefit you in other ways. We’ve helped converters avoid label testing altogether, simply by talking to UL engineers, finding alternative facestocks or adhesives that are already recognized, easily allowing the converter to adopt it to their UL file.
