Avery Dennison launches online ordering for customers across APAC
My Avery Dennison™ gives customers a fast, personalized way to browse and order materials
Singapore, MARCH 3, 2021—Avery Dennison announced that its My Avery Dennison online ordering system, already popular among customers in North America, is now available throughout its Asia Pacific countries, including Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, and Kenya. The service is quickly expanding to other parts of the region, immediately upcoming in Southeast Asia, India, Japan, Korea, and China.
The system is a complement to the personalized service that converters and brands have come to expect from Avery Dennison’s sales team, said George Theodoropoulos, Director, Commercial Excellence and Customer Experience, Asia Pacific.
“We love providing world-class customer service,” he said. “It’s part of our DNA as a company. But we know that sometimes our customers, like all of us, prefer to jump online and take care of an order themselves. My Avery Dennison lets them do that in a way that’s easy, fast and personalized. We see it as the online extension of our person-to-person service.”
Customers enrolled in the program can access My Avery Dennison via a secure link from the home page of the Avery Dennison Labels and Packaging Materials website. The portal offers several features that make online ordering especially easy and efficient.
With Quick Order, customers can browse and compare thousands of label materials in Avery Dennnison’s inventory to find the best fit for their application and project budget, and then order them with a click. Users can also view past orders, download data sheets, request quotes and samples, and more, all online. The portal’s slit optimization feature lets customers visualize and then choose how to slit each roll they order, for maximum efficiency and productivity. New features are being added in the next couple of months including delivery tracking, claim entry, and viewing and downloading service order documents.
Since January 2021, Avery Dennison has been receiving orders online as well as feedback from first-time users, which are largely positive. “We live in an e-commerce world now, and I’m glad to be able to order Avery Denison materials online just as I’d order anything else in my professional or personal life” said one customer. “It saves me valuable time if I can do my routine ordering through My Avery Dennison and reserve conversations with my sales representative for those situations where I really need their expertise to help me troubleshoot or innovate.”
Indeed, Avery Dennison remains committed to providing customers with whatever help they need, however they’d like to access it, said George. “We are still a phone call or an email away, whenever our customers need us.”
Avery Dennison customers interested in setting up a My Avery Dennison account can do so by contacting their Avery Dennison sales representative. More information is available at label.averydennison.com.
