Avery Dennison second edition of AD. Connect in Thailand unpacks frozen food packaging challenges and solutions for brands

AD.Connect, Avery Dennison’s bespoke customer event in ASEAN continues with its second edition to great success in Thailand. Organized by Avery Dennison and attended by many reputable multinational food & beverage corporations, including CP Foods, Betagro, Lotus, Cargill and more, the event was held to redefine the status quo of traditional food packaging technologies.
With the theme "Food Label Unboxed with Avery Dennison", this edition of AD.Connect was held to share the latest consumer trends, governmental regulations, and cutting-edge packaging technologies that Avery Dennison has to offer for the food & beverage space. Attendees also participated in various interactive sessions that helped them understand the benefits of Pressure Sensitive Labels as a packaging technology.
Key highlights included presentations from industry experts, such as Dr. Claudia Mariconda, the Global Senior Director, Sustainability of Avery Dennison, and Ms. Kejin Zhang, the ASEAN Sustainability and Innovations Lead Manager of Avery Dennison. Sustainability have been an ongoing mega trend among consumers on fast moving consumer goods and it’s the same situation in the frozen food and ready to eat food industries. Their sessions explored the evolving governmental regulations and its impact on the food and beverage industry as well as sustainable product and services solutions to meet these requirements.
