MENTOR, OHIO, September 20, 2018 – Intelligent label solutions that boost efficiency and provide consumers with interactive brand experiences, high-quality digital printing solutions and adhesives that enable fast, efficient digital printing are primary elements of Avery Dennison’s Change the Game zone at Labelexpo Americas 2018 booth #119.

“It’s an exciting time to be a part of our industry,” said Mariana Rodriguez, business director - intelligent labels, Avery Dennison. “Game-changing labeling innovations add value to the work converters perform to help their customers reach consumers in new and unique ways. It’s our job to not only help converters reduce costs while increasing efficiency with printing, facestock and adhesive innovations, but also to provide breakthrough technologies such as intelligent labels that ultimately enhance the consumer experience.”

Avery Dennison will present live demonstrations to help converters get started with RFID intelligent label technology and provide examples of how it is being used in aviation, beauty, food to improve supply chain management, increase inventory accuracy and enhance consumer engagement. As well as offering a wide selection of UHF, HF and NFC options to enable the use of RFID for any use case and is at the forefront of the intelligent labeling segment.

Avery Dennison has been innovating RFID solutions for this game-changing technology for more than a decade and labels for use with microwave ovens has been a market requirement that addresses customer, grocery stores and food retailers’ needs.

Digital printing is a fast-growing technology that Avery Dennison supports by working directly with digital OEMs and converters to deliver UV inkjet and water-based inkjet label constructions that meet the specific needs of each technology -- many of which will be featured at Labelexpo.

In addition, Avery Dennison will provide Digital Passports to Labelexpo attendees, encouraging them to visit the booths of seven digital OEMs -- Colordyne, Domino, Epson, Mark Andy Digital Series, Primera, SCREEN Americas and Xeikon. Each will be running different Avery Dennison UV and water-based materials on digital inkjet presses. Attendees can collect samples for their Digital Passports. Those who return complete Digital Passports to Avery Dennison booth #119 will be eligible to win prizes.

Avery Dennison’s TrueCut™ S2550 Adhesive Technology allows converters to maintain high-speed converting across a wide range of applications -- including those with temperatures as low as 30°F -- while delivering excellent tack and adhesion without compromise. Designed for paper facestocks, it delivers excellent performance in low-temperature applications such as cold warehouses, freight depots, labs or food delivery packaging lines across a wide range of surfaces such as corrugated, glass and plastics, including HDPE and LDPE. Based on Avery Dennison lab testing, at room temperature, ultimate adhesion is more than 80 percent stronger than tested competitive products. With the continued growth of e-commerce, innovations such as TrueCut deliver uncompromised performance to ensure logistics companies are able to properly track and ship goods and keep costs low.
